Project Manager - Software Development (Mobile Apps)

Job Description:

We are looking to hire a Software Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of overall experience in software development and at least two years or more managing a software development team(s) and driving software implementation.

The candidate should be capable of taking ownership of the product line, the technology stack, and the product’s engineering team.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead a cross-functional team of Software Development Engineers, UI/UX Designers and SQA Engineers towards meeting the development projects for a software product.
  • Lead a cross-functional teams, manage project scope of work, delivery schedules, project meetings and ensure timely deliverable.
  • Must have experience in project estimation, planning, scheduling, tracking, risk management, defect management, status reporting.
  • Manage expectations of both internal and external stakeholders and ensure that project timelines and commitments are met.
  • Participate and lead the team in gathering requirements, implementation, product design, testing, and delivery.
  • Elicit requirements and manage product road-map.
  • Advocate and continually improve the software engineering practices.
  • The candidate should be capable of taking ownership of the product line, the technology stack, and the product’s engineering team.
  • Manage expectations of both internal and external stakeholders and ensure that project timelines and commitments are met.
Skills/Requirements:
  • Solid understanding of Agile and SCRUM.
  • Experience of building modern, salable, rich-internet Web and Mobile Applications.
  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Leadership & Team Management Skills are mandatory.
  • Risk Management and Time Delivery Management.
